Andalusia

Andalusian Cities Tour

Let’s track and unearth the legacy of Al Andalus through its major cities: Malaga, Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada!

Tailormade Just For You

Al Andalus: The Shining Star Of The Dark Ages!

How about a deeper and more comprehensive immersion in the spirit of Al Andalus? This tour includes mainly Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada. However, this is a tailor-made trip, which means that we can design it according to your wishes. You can decide the flow and the duration of the trip.

In Malaga, where we take a panoramic tour, we see the oldest arena in Spain, the Paseo de Parque (Park Street), the Plaze de la Merced (square), the Roman theatre, the Puerto Marina (harbour) and the Alcazaba Castle, built by the Hammudi dynasty in the 11th century.

In Seville one of the many places we visit is the General Archive of the Indies, where the invaluable archival documents on the history of the Spanish Empire in America and Asia are kept. Another architectural masterpiece of Al Andalus is undoubtedly the Alcazar Royal, the royal palace built for the Christian King Peter of Castile. With over 1000 years of history, the Alcazar is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. Seville Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the world, and its Giralda bell tower, a former minaret, are the next destinations on our route. We will walk through the narrow streets of Santa Cruz and along the Guadalquivir River, only to climb the Torre del Oro (the Golden Tower) to catch the golden hour!

Once the only glowing city in the Dark Ages of Europe, Cordoba still retains its splendour with the long-lasting spirit of knowledge as it used to be the preeminent centre of learning and culture. We visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, which is more than a millennium year old. Getting lost on the white rose-scented streets of Cordoba is another unique experience that Al Andalus offers you as well as walking on the two-thousand-year-old Roman bridge over the Guadalquivir River.

Granada will captivate you with its time-honored historical monuments that defy time! Al Hambra is where the sunlight, the flow of water and the play of shadows between the courtyards and the open halls play their game in the most amazing way. This architectural masterpiece overwhelms every visitor and makes it a unique experience for every passerby. We walk through the whitewashed streets of the famous Arab quarter of Albaicin. We rest by the Darro River with its cool climate, pass the time in the Plaza Nueva with our drinks and visit the Cathedral of Granada along with many more must see destinations in Granada.
